Victoria Louise and the Magic Box.

The story is about the adventures of a girl called Victoria Louise Atherston.

Victoria is staying at her grandfathers house in London. She finds a magic

box in the house. By mistake her friend switches on the box. Victoria and

her friend are both transported into a strange land. To find out what

happens next you must read the story. You must read it very carefully and try

to find the clues that appear in the story. These clues also apply to the next

story that follows. The story has lots of pages. It would be better if you copy

Chapter 1.

Victoria finds the box.

Victoria Louise Atherton was

bored and believe it or not when

Victoria Louise Atherton was

bored she was usually in a bad

temper. She sat on the edge of

her bed with her arms folded and

with a glum look on her freckled

face. She pursed out her bottom

lip and stared blankly into space.

Then she tried to whistle but only

acheived an almost soundless

blow. Dreadful Douglas can

whistle she thought to herself.

Boys always can.....

.....Victoria suddenly felt very

dizzy.The room seemed to

disappear and she was

surrounded by a deep purple

colour. The colour whirled round

and round her with increasing

speed. It seemed as though she

felt that she was in the centre of
a powerful whirlwind. She tried to

scream but could not hear her

own voice......
